Dear Helen,

Just a line to let you know everything is going along fine over here. We have been pretty busy, but that can be expected. I got your letter a couple of days ago so I thought I had better answer it. I hear that you are having a lot of rain back there? I wish we would have a little bit to settle the dust. It is getting awful hot and dry.

I would like for you to send me some 120 films for I can take some pictures. I bought a camera but I can’t get any films. I would like to have five or six rolls if you can get them to send. Does Woodson ever get home anymore? If so, tell him I said hello, and tell him I said, I wish I had him with me now for we would have some good times. I can’t think of anything else to write so I close for this evening.

 Love,

Chester Mc.
