1859 Dated, Model 1853 Enfield Marked V.R.

Sale Price:$1,100.00 Original Price:$1,300.00
sold out

Enfield 1859 dated/ Enfield 1853 pattern smoothbore musket with a .577 caliber bore. This rifle bares the "VR" Victoria Regina marking or the Queens / Sovereign's Cypher. The musket shows wear mostly around the hammer from use no doubt. The wood has a nice clean look to it and has clear enfield markings on the stock. A large number of these were sold to the Confederacy during the Civil War. This is not a Confederate Enfield but is still a beautiful example of what they would have used at that time!
