Original 1939 Wedding Edition of Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf – RARE and Certified
An exceptionally rare and historical artifact: this is an original 1939 Wedding Edition of Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf, published by the Central Publishing House of the NSDAP, Franz Eher Nachf., Munich, Germany. This edition was part of a unique tradition begun in 1935, wherein newlywed German couples were presented with a specially bound copy of Mein Kampf as a state wedding gift.
Bound with a distinctive leather spine and housed in its original slipcase (which has some minor damage), this copy includes the dedicated presentation page—a hallmark of the Wedding Edition—with spaces for the names of the bride and groom and the signature of the local mayor. Notably, this particular copy is signed by the mayor of Hannover, adding to its historical significance.
The book is in very nice condition for its age. The binding is tight, and all pages are intact. The dimensions and styling of this edition mirror that of a traditional German Bible, a symbolic choice by the regime at the time.
This edition stands as a tangible representation of the propaganda and social engineering efforts of the Nazi state and is of significant interest to historians, collectors, and institutions focused on 20th-century history, World War II, and totalitarian governments.
