Original *Blood Stained* 1940 Brown Wehrmacht Sanitäter (Medic) Pouch – Marked DNY & Dated

$125.00

Offered here is a rare and highly collectible WWII German Wehrmacht Sanitäter (medic) pouch, constructed of brown leather and clearly maker-marked “DNY” with the date 1940. This piece remains in very good condition, showcasing authentic field wear while maintaining excellent structural integrity.

The pouch includes several original contents that add to its historical interest:

  • A small pack of razor-type blades

  • An Italian WWII gauze

  • A small period paper referring to Dolantin (a morphine-based painkiller used during the war), produced by Bayer

One particularly intriguing detail is the presence of what appears to be dried blood in the bottom of the pouch. This was present when acquired and, while minor in amount, suggests it may have seen field use—possibly from a wounded soldier or even just a cut sustained in the line of duty. While speculative, this adds a powerful layer of authenticity and mystery to the piece.

A striking artifact for collectors of WWII German militaria, medical history, or anyone seeking a tangible piece of frontline history.

Shipping will be added upon purchase/email
