Post World War 2 Navy Day Programs

$30.00

There are 5 pieces altogether in the lot. “Navy Day,” selected to take place on October 27th in honor of Franklin Roosevelt’s birthday, was a celebration of the US Navy. It gave a chance for civilians to visit these great big ships that had played a huge part in winning the war. It was a great way to honor those that fought and give a sense of patriotism to every person that visited. Two of these are on the specific ships and two are talking about the celebrations themselves as well as a map in the newspaper.
